Ok so I'm back...again. I haven't been on lately because...well...life. Work, school...social life...lol. Got a new pool table in the garage...also another reason. Beer, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Pool....need I say more lol. Well anyways, I submitted a couple still life drawings I did yesterday, they're not my best but I figured they were decent enough to add to my little collection on here. I see you changed your avatar, I like this one better than the old one. While I was here I took a look at the critique you wrote. Not a bad job of critique writing, you were honest and straight forward without being cruel. I hope the artist appreciated your opinion.
Thanks. The artist did appreciate my opinion, a lot actually. Part of my assignments in class is to critique my classmates work also. I'm not that great with using the vocabulary we're being taught to critique but this is a really good way for me to practice.
It's like drawing, you improve by writing them. I've written quite a few myself. So far every artist I've written one for has been appreciative, some enthusiastically so.
